Using JBL Creatures on a G4 with SpeakerPro Jack

I have a pair of JBL Creature speakers that have the usual stereo speaker jack on them. I've recently bought a second hand PowerMac G4 (733), but can't use the speakers because of the proprietary apple speakerpro jack.

I've searched everywhere for an adapter to convert the standard speaker jack into a speaker pro, but can't find one - can anyone help?

Um, that Power Mac has, besides the Pro Speakers jack, a standard headphone output as well. Just use that.

you know, in all the faffing about I've done with this, I had just *assumed* that was an audio in (despite the obvious icon next to it).

Hehe. What's actually missing, thanks to the Pro Speakers jack, is the audio in!

Luckily USB sound interfaces are plentiful and cheap, should you need an input.
