Hi Pete. I went with the Predator by iomega. It comes with USB but is upgradable to Firewire. With USB its 4/4/6 but when upgraded to firewire it becomes a 8/4/32 drive. The base cost if 269 with the upgrade coming in at around 79 (becoming available this month). I thought about the Lacie, but iomega seems to be a more stable company and I was concerned with future support. Plus I've owned many iomega products with good experiences every time.
