I purchased an Acer 12x8x32 CDRW which is an IDE drive. I have it inside my PeeCee. Right now I FTP the .SIT files over to my PeeCee and burn them in Joliet mode (thank God for Tempel!!)

Can I buy one of those Firewire enclosures and have Toast/Describe/iTunes burn Mac CD's or am I going to have to shell out $$ for a external firewire CDRW for my Pismo?

If I can, which enclosure would you recommend? I'd prefer one that could use the Firewire port for power if needed.
