I've got an old external SCSI Yamaha 4x4x16 cd burner and a newish Pismo G3. I'm tying to decide between getting an Orange PC Firewire to SCSI converter and using this drive or just buying an new QUE 12 x 10 x 32 external Firewire drive. Anyone have experiences with one or the other? I'd love to be able to use iTunes and Discburner rather than having to buy a new copy of Toast (I have the old one that came with the burner which I bet is obsolete). Currently running OS 9.0.4. I'm assuming I'd have to upgrade to 9.1 to make the Disc Burner solution work. How does retrospect work with either combo?
