I bought a 17 giger less than a year ago from TransIntl.
It was an IBM hard drive. After 9 monthes, the disk started to have problems (bad blocks) and a low level format wouldn't help (they were reappearing shortly after at other places ... .. .).
I tried many times to mail them to get it replaced under warranty but never had any answer.
Moreover the disk sold was an IBM OEM drive (it was never advertised as OEM on their site) and I couldn't have it replaced by IBM.
Thanks for any advice to get them do their duty ... for now I'll keep posting about my bad experience.

Did you try calling them? This sounds strange to me, unless the warranty is up to IBM and not TransIntl - a real possibility - because when I had a firmware issue with my RAM, they called me (looked for my number through the sales invoice) and arranged for a replacement. Got the RMA in a few days, when they sorted out what was wrong, sent it in, got a new stick soon after, with no shipping charges. I've had good experiences with their service - as long as its their responsibility, they will probably cover you.

I didn't tried calling them ... good idea
I mailed them maybe 10 times ... I'll look for their phone number on their site, but their contact informations are not very clear (no tech support mail , the only mail contact they have is sales)
Even if the wrong person received the mail , they should have answered ... I am sure they didn't answered on purpose.
Thx for the advice.

Try calling them at their toll free number : 1 - 800-783-2120.
Like milhaus said, they replaced one of my DIMMS that wasn't compatible with the new firmware update. And it was well over a year since I had purchased it.
They will replace it, just be firm about it.
I buy all my memory from them.
