Does anyone make a Generic Driver to run web cams in OS X? I have a philips cam, and they don't make X Drivers, and I doubt they ever will. Is there any way I can get it working or should I just toss it now?
If you're wondering, its a model #PCVC675K

Try IOXperts' software. The company is based in Cambridge, MA. Yeah!! (It's good to support your local yocals when you can). Hope it helps.

Hey there,
Try macam . They make awesome drivers for quite a few USB cameras and are constantly adding more. (best of all, they are free). Check them out...I believe they support quite a few cameras that use Philips hardware.
good luck,
dave

Another one you might want to try is by Orange Micro http://www.orangeware.com/updateiidccam.html . This is their generic driver for firewire cams, and they have one for their iBot camera, as well.
