I've been having a problem while attempting to print. It seems that, some amount of time after startup, my printer will refuse to print anything. Print Center will not launch after hitting print, and a dialog box appears with only the error "Error while printing." Nothing short of a reboot will enable me to print again, but after some time has elapsed and I try to print another document, the same thing happens. Running 10.1.5. This has happenned with both an Epson and a Lexmark printer, so the problem is operating system or Print Center related, not a problem with the drivers. The printer is the only USB device on my system other than the keyboard and mouse. No USB hub, printer is plugged in directly. This is infuriating and Apple has provided no fix or explanation for its completely abominable printing support under OS X. Anyone else having this problem? Anyone here have any suggestions?
