A portable DVD player that plays MP3's from a DVD-R (i.e. SuperDrive in 733's).
The thing doesn't need to even be able to display video, but can you imagine having a DVD with over 33 hours of 320kbps music (or 83 hours of 128kbos music). I'd also want the ability to be able to show names, etc, as you can imagine. The Browse funtion in iTunes would be a good way to deal with it. And that's on just ONE $10 disc.
Of course I'd be happy to have Escient's PowerFile DVD jukebox (which can stream video across the network to Macs & not to PC's, it's a MSFT thing)
http://www.dvdchanger.com/ to do this. I assume that PowerFile from the same parent company (
http://www.escient.com/ ) will add this functionality in an awesome way (they own CDDB). So, you can imagine that you could have at home the ability to access 6600 hours of audio at 320kbps let's not even get to 128kbps at that number!!!. Cool times are ahead my friends...
