I had one of the USB drives. Biggest problem, no fan. That sucker would get warm!

The reason I don't have it any longer is because the setup guide said to use the default initialization in Drive Setup, which gives a standard format. I tried to use HFS+ with it, and it consistently locked up after a few hours, even without being too hot.

With standard format, your smallest file size on a 20G drive is huge.

I've been having a terrible time with a 20GB USB BusLink drive. It keeps freezing the System...

On both an iMac and a Beige G3 with an OrangeMicro OrangeLink USB/FireWire PCI card.
