I just got an iPod (10GB) over the weekend (and added 2 years of Replacement Coverage at CompUSA for $30), and I have run into the following situation:
While playing tracks off an album (not in a Playlist, just tracks off an album), at times the last 5 seconds or so of a track get skipped and the iPod just starts playing the next tune. When I go back and listen to the song to verify this, the last 5 seconds are of course there - the case is not that the file was clipped. What's the deal?
It seems to happen after 3 or 4 songs off an album have been played. The iPod just jumps right over to the next track in the album list without waiting for the current song to finish playing. Anyone else getting this?
