Did a search couldn't find anyone who had actually tried this so...I've recently moved my mac mini to the office & it now shares space with my wife's PC. I'd like to get a KVM to share the monitor, keyboard & mouse, but right now the PC uses a wireless (IR) mouse & keyboard, while the mini uses an apple bluetooth keyboard & mouse. The IR wireless setup kind of sucks. Sometimes the mouse is hard to operate or non-responsive. The Bluetooth setup is great, but as the BT setup Locks onto the mini, I don't see anyway to share the keyboard & mouse between computers. What I'm looking for is a KVM & a wireless mouse & keyboard that will work together between PC & mac mini. I've not been able to tell if a wireless keyboard/mouse will even work on a KVM. Does anyone have any experience with this kind of setup & if so, can you offer me any tips/brand recommendations, etc?

Here's the biggest issue: wireless mice and keyboards have a VERY POOR track record with KVMs. KVMs don't play nice with them, and that makes the wireless devices (either Bluetooth or IR) get "confused" and maybe even lock up. That even goes for wireless devices that use a USB dongle (maybe ESPECIALLY for those).

You can typically have the convenience of wireless IO devices OR the convenience of having only one set of display and IO devices for multiple computers. Sorry

I had to give away my wireless mouse/keyboard combo when I KVM'ed my work PC & Mac G5. It was a sad sight, but after a day and a half of fiddling around with it, and googling every possibility I could think of, it came down to the fact that I would just have to sacrifice.

If you are looking for a good reccomendation on a KVM, I suggest the Belkin Omni-View SOHO 2-Port. The only issues I had were dealing with the Wireless Keyboard/Mouse.

Good Luck
