Because of the difference in quality from one MP3 to another, some songs are quiet and others are robust. For example, songs ripped at top-quality from my own CDs are loud and clear (the way it should be). However, songs downloaded from Napster, say at 160 kbps are obviously not as clear.
It's a pain to have to keep adjusting the volume of my iPod, or even iTunes. Am I correct to assume this is something we just have to deal with? Does anyone have a unique way of minimizing the issue?
BTW, if this (and the mirrored back) are my only complaints about this amazing little device... It's safe to say I love my iPod. I can't wait to plug her into my new ComboDrive iMac .. which is still "Being Assembled."
They say good things come to those...
