I just bought a Epson Stylus C40UX and it wont print. It says that there is a communication error even though the printer comes up fine in the Print Center Application. Everytime I try to print something it says printing... Then it says closing printer conection... And then nothing else happens. I have downloaded and installed the driver for os x too! Does anyone have any suggestions about what I should do?

The only time this happened to me was when I placed the Print Center application in my Home's Application folder instead of leaving it where it was initially (in the System Application folder). For some reason, whenever I printed after the move, the Print Center would open, say it was printing, then close down. I moved the app back to its original location and it worked! I have an Epson 740 Color.

If this doesn't work, try printing from different applications. Sometimes I've found that one thing works while another doesn't. Good luck finding a solution!
