Unpowered USB Hubs with Optical Mice

I figure that optical mice draw power from the USB bus so I was wondering if there is any problem using one with an unpowered hub or if it would be able to draw enough power. The hub would be shared with a printer (HP Deskjet 932c) and maybe a scanner at a later date (if I don't get a SCSI one that is). I don't plan on buying any other USB devices at this time and I never plan on buying any that must draw power from the bus (other than the optical mouse.

I am really looking for someone who has had first hand exp. with this failed or successful. Please include details like what brand/model hub and what mouse. Also include wether your USB is built-in or a PCI Upgrade.

Optical mice draw a fair bit of power... bus-powered hubs can barely handle two plugged in at the same time (and sometimes not even that).

As long as your printer and scanner are both self-powered (I believe the printer is, and most scanners are as well) you should be in the clear.
