Hi,

I'm using an HP Deskjet 932C in OS X, and everything i print comes out slanting to the left on the paper. I've spent hours in Print Center looking for ways to align the paper correctly, but I can never find anything.

The problem seems to be the worst when printing off the net, but it's pretty bad when I'm printing out of Word, too.

Can anyone help me fix this?

Thanks,
Chris

P.S. According to my computer, the printer I have is a 930C, but it's actually a 932C. Should I be worried about this at all....

I had that happen on an Epson once and this was my fix: There was this lever that was used to distance the roller from the print assembly. I had made some envelopes and forgotten to move it back. Thus the paper was kind of sliding sideways and not straight down the roller. I'm crossing my fingers that your problem is this simple to fix.

Thank you for the suggestion. I tried putting the lever (I have a little green slider deal) at several different places, but the printed page still always comes out with a slant.

Back to the drawing board....

Also, if this printer is a little on the old side, there's something else you should check. I had an HP 900 something or another (one of their office printers that had both the Serial and ADB ports on it). The rollers had gotten both dry and coated with paper dust. I took long cotton q-tips (the long wood ones) and dipped them in isopropal alcohol and cleaned all the rollers I could get my hands on. That did the trick. My problem was a little different, in that the printer wouldn't pick up the paper in the tray consistently. Give it a shot.
