PBook wont recognize external HD.

	Have an IBM 75GXP 30GB in a Skymaster 3.5" External Storage Case that I got from fwdepot.com. My Powerbook is a Firewire/500MHz model. I have the latest FireWire drivers installed (2.5). The drive won't show up on my desktop or in Apple Drive Setup. Apple System Profiler appears to see the drive, but I'm not so sure that it isn't just seeing the bridge. The drive is spinning up and is getting power (I hear it).
