I've seen a USB/Firewire DVD drive for a PC, but it doesn't say anything about Mac compatibility. My friend really wants a DVD drive for her iBook SE, but of course it's the iBook that didn't have FireWire. Are there any out there?

If your friend is hoping to watch DVD films via an external USB DVD drive. Forget it. USB does not have nearly enough data through put. Plus, i'm 99% sure that Apple's DVD software does not support external DVD drives.
