Im getting really confused about a graphics card i have ordered off ebay as to whether it is actually compatible with my G4 model.
Card is Radeon 9000 Pro pulled from G4 Mirror Door model.
I have G4 upgraded from 500Mhz to 1.4Mhz. I thought my G4 was agp graphics, when i searched around, i saw, to tell what model, if you have an adc display connector, it means you have gigabit model. i have adc connector!
Sytem profiler says agp graphics, which doesnt explain adc connection i have.
also, this a message i had from user here:
"Yes my Sawtooth is the G4/400 with a 2x agp slot,
Some of the 9000 oem ati cards were 2x/4x
The card I have is a pull from a Mirror double door G4."
Which seems to be the same card, as it was also a radeon 9000 pro pulled from mirror door.
But i also see advertised that radeon 9000 pro does not work with pci or older agp graphics models, ie, pre gigabit.
You can see how this is getting to be frustrating for me, conflicting information all over the place.
