Well shame on me for not digging into the Apple Messageboards...I would have saved myself a LOT of headache.

I have a Sawtooth G4/400, and just bought the Apple 17" LCD with DVIator. It worked fine the first time I started up, but after installing the software and restarting, now it only shows the happy mac..then the display turns off. I tried everything under the sun, but no go. The only thing that works is that it will keep the display on when booting from the 10.1 CD...weird. Apple tech support was useless as usual.

I'm thinking now I will return this, and get the Formac 1740...but does anyone know if a) it will work with the DVIator, and b) would it suffer the same blackout symptoms as the Apple display?
