Okay, I want a new keyboard.
A wireless one would be cool. Radio, not IR. I've seen Logitech radio KB's around for reasonable prices... but I'm wondering, will they be Mac compatible?
The Logitech website says nothing about system requirements or compatibility. Now, USB is inherently cross platform, especially with keyboards and other devices that use the USB HID library... but, when the wireless aspect is thrown in, I'd rather double check first.
Is anyone using one of these KB's? Specifically, I was considering this one.
Thanks...
EDIT: Another consideration... what's battery life like?
Just found the compatibility datasheet - the MacOS is not listed. That may be for disclaimer purposes - the iTouch keys or whatever wouldn't work on a Mac, however, the basic functions (which are what count) may well... just looking for someone who has done this themselves.

I am considering this keyboard.
There is a post(and picture) in the Powermac picture thread of someone getting the keyboard to work. He says the iTouch keys do not work though.

If any retail store around you has them on display, ask them to plug in the transmitter to their local display mac. See if it works! Tell them they have a sale if it works.
Although the brain dead workers may not go along with it, asking them is worth the try!
Let me know if it works. I haven't gotten a person with one iota of a clue at my local CompUSA.

Found this on one of the Logitech pages:
From Logitech Support Pages:
Logitech Keyboards
Hardware
Currently, Logitech does not manufacture keyboards designed to be used on a Macintosh platform.
But I have used the Cordless Freedom iTouch fine in OS 9. I didn't try any of the one-touch buttons, but for basic keyboard input, including the F-keys, it worked fine. Mouse also worked fine. Didn't notice any lagging or any issues with the tracking. As for OS X support, I don't know....

Nobody in Australia except the Apple Store is allowed to carry Macs. Heh. No wonder they've got no market here
I'll just buy one of 'em, and if it doesn't work, I'll take it back. No worries.
Thanks all
I'll letcha know how it goes.

Well, I just went and got the Logitech Cordless Freedom iTouch, and the keyboard worked straight away - hot plugged, and it just worked.
The iTouch buttons screwed up the system a little; caused a strange hang, which I later attributed to a conflict with USB Overdrive.
After disabling USB Overdrive, and installing the Logitech MouseWare drivers, the cordless mouse and keyboard both work flawlessly - the iTouch buttons don't work, as I expected, but I'm working on that one.
Now all I'd like to do is increase the tracking speed back to what USB Overdrive gave me (Fast 100 setting), work out whether it works with OSX, and finally, swap over the key mappings for Alt and the Windows key - the Windows key should be Option, not Command, and the Alt key should be Command, not Option. On the left side of the keyboard, that is.
Wireless is so cool!
Hehe.

Well, it works in OSX, mouse and all... to my surprise. I didn't know if the mouse would work.
I'd love to wire these iTouch keys (play, pause, stop, skip, volume, et al) to real functions, much like how the Pro keyboard does... that'd rock.
But, I'm content for the moment. Awesome stuff
