...these prices seem SO low to me that they would almost be a cause for concern! Is any of their stuff any good? Is there anyone out there using it that might be able to make any claims of reliability/ quality?
thanks!
Mark.

bad, bad bad. If you do order from MacSolutions, or onememory.com, MAKE SURE you get what you paid for. Both Bockie and I purchased low profile 256 MB chips for imac rev b, their site said it would work in rev a-d, but it only sbowed up as 128 in both our imacs.
Their return policy is also skewed. I would not buy again from either of these vendors. (They are the same, have same tel #).

Conversely, I've bought memory for an iMac 266 (LP and top slot), 333 (2 different machines, top slot), 400 DV, 450 DV+, Powerbook Lombard & Pismo, and G4 over the past 22 months from Macsolutions and have had no problems at all. Shipping usually arrives a day earlier than promised.
FWIW....

I switched from MacSolutions to Memory To Go a couple of years ago they were consistantly cheaper than MacSolutions
http://www.memorytogo.com
I have never had any trouble from either vendor

i really have to wonder about the dif between single and dual-inline ram (at least, i think that's what i mean). i know there are some machines that can only accept single-sided ram in the first slot. does this pretty much count across the board?
great story, i owned a powercenter150 and bought a stripped-bare umax j700 as a project. to try to start it up, i pulled the stock 16mb ram chip from my pcc and stuck it in the umax. imagine my utter amazement when the umax reads the chip as 32mb! it was factory installed from pcc, advertised as 16 and everything. i was both surprised and pleased, as you might imagine. bought some ram off ebay (worst ebay experience ever) to put in the pcc, and i've been smiling about it ever since.
