peripherals forum. try there. I like my logitech. $20 at Wal-Mart. it's optical, 2-button, scroll-wheel. all works nicely. however, there are better ones out there, and I'd really like a wireless one.

Logitech Cordless Mouseman Optical is great for general use, but for ANYTHING professional you can't beat a Razer Boomslang!

Hard to get, but if you find one, GRAB IT.

NOT optical, nice weight, large surface to rest your palm on, SUPER ACCURATE. I can't say enough about them, in my opinion, they are the best input devices ever made!

Rrrk!

Well, both are of course compatible, but you need USB Overdrive to REALLY exploit their full potential. It's worth the purchase price though!

As for basic pointing and clicking (and scrolling I believe) they ARE compatible right out of the box.

I like my MacAlly Micro Mouse...small, clear acrylic case (so the "innards" show) that glows red when moving. Wheel plus 2 programmable buttons. Nice and compact. Good design match for my iBook.

That mouse rocks! Has anyone found a source for buying the white one online?

It's so sexy compared to my old xlr8 scrollwheel.
