i was wondering if anyone knew if this was normal behavior for the ipod:

i used my ipod on friday and after 20 min or so, the volume adjust would no longer adjust the volume, and after shutting the ipod down, it would no longer turn on. I figured it was the battery, as i hadn't charged it in a while (though the battery indicator showed full bars).

so i charged the ipod on friday. After it said charging was complete, i disconnected it from the charger. I didn't pick it up at all all weekend, and today, monday, I used it for about 20 min as well, i had the same volume problems and as soon as i shut it off, i could no longer turn it on. again, i assume it is a problem with the battery.

is the battery supposed to drain this quickly when not in use? is this normal? i got my ipod in january, so would this be within the warranty period? does it qualify for replacement if this is deviant behavior?

many thanks in advance.

Once or twice I have had my ipods volume not respond, try a reset and look from there, thats what I did.
Also try using it, playing it untill the batery is compleatly dead then recharge it, thats happend to me once, it had three bars then when dead after the drive spun up, after not using it for a weekend.

I GOT WASTED WITH PHIL SHERRY!!!
