Not a perfect answer, but you should try mounting it with the setup (same computer and burner) you used to create the CD.

on my old powerbook, it wouldn't mount CD's sometimes. Have you tried connecting a burner and mounting it via the burner? That might help.

unfortunatly, the files were not on the cd....grrrrrrr
