Hello, can anyone give me a couple suggestions for a good firewire (powered) fast cdrw drive that surely works with OSX?
Thanks for ideas!

Do a search in this forum for "firewire CD-RW" and you'll find some recent discussions.
I've got the LaCie 24x FW burner on order, and it seems to be popular.

The formac bus powered CDRW is very good.
It's quite bulky, but very quiet. Also has the bonus of not needing an external power supply.
Not sure what the speeds are as it isn't mine, but my friend has never had any problems with it.

I got a formac as well!
It's a 16X and works like charm and it looks like something organic wtih the smooth shapes. =)

Gotta go with the QPS 24x10x40. Nice design, a little on the noisy side but it burns nicely....
