I have a NEC LCD2070NX monitor, and I have issues sometimes with the monitor not turning on when I move my mouse. I will sometimes see a quick brightening of the screen, and the LED on the power button will turn green, but no image.

I thought that this might be some interaction with my KVM switch, but it also happens when the mac (dual 1.8 GHz desktop) is connected directly to the monitor.

Is there some known gotcha with energy saver settings or anything else that could be causing this? Thanks.

Stephen
