I have a camera with one FW jack and I have i thooked to computer A. If I put a FW cable from Computer A to computer B can I connect to the camera from B?

I figure asking is easier than buying cables to end up being disappointed.

thanks

Nope, you can't.
Not without 3rd party software which may not exist anyway.

i'm a little confused about what you want to do. as far as i can make out, you want to get the digital footage from the camera to... both computers? or just computer B? not sure. i suppose what you could do is hook the camera up to machine A and copy the stream over. then, use a firewire cable to connect the two machines, put machine B into target disk mode, and copy the stream from machine A to machine B. or something.

What he wants to do is connect the camera (C) to comp a (A) to comp b (B)...

C---A---B

Like a daisy chain, allowing B to connect to the camera as if it were directly linked to it.
It can't be done...
I assume thats what you mean anyway...
