Just courious if you had 2 firewire burners hooked up, could they both burn the same thing at the same time? I'd rather buy another burner than another MAC.

Any thoughts?

Hi, the answer to your question is yes. With 2 copies of toast, and 2 burners you can in fact, burn 2 cd's at once. I've done it with my Internal burner and an external USB. The June 01 MacAddict talks about this in their review of Toast 5. It works out great. If you have any questions about getting this to work just ask.

Does this also work in OSX though?

Don't know about 2 toasts, but it works with Toast and iTunes at the same time.

Isn't this a complete joke? You need to copy the Toast application file and launch it a second time to burn 2 CDs at the same time when even the OS X Finder can do it no problem!

Roxio even has the audacity to use sheets in the OS X version of Toast (presumably just for aesthetics) even though their app goes completely against the whole principle of sheets and doesn't allow you to have more than one document open at once. LOL!
