I'm trying to find a reliable network laser printer for under £300. It needs to have en ethernet port, and be mac and PC compatable.

Any suggestions would be gratefully recieved.

if you don't need new--you could try locating an apple laserwriter 12/640 or 16/600. I love my 12/640 and it'll print over ethernet, parallel or localtalk. It also supports (out of the box) if you can believe it, netware print server, lpr (unix tcp/ip) and appletalk. It's also got both postscript level 2 and hp pcl (auto-switching) and can print at 600 dpi with resolution enhancement. They go for around $150 to $200 on ebay in really nice condition. And best of all, no problems in OS X
