Hello all -
I have a Yamaha 6416S internal SCSI CD burner, which replaced my stock IDE CD drive in my blue and white G3. Before, when I put an audio CD into the drive and played it through SoundJam, I could take advantage of SoundJam's equalizer to customize the sound. Now, I can't. On or off, no matter what settings, it doesn't make a bit of difference. Does it have something to do with that little wire that carries the audio from the CD player to the motherboard? Thanks.

Without knowing more; sounds to me like your copy of Soundjam has expired and gone into limited use mode. That is if you have not purhcased the full version. You should also not be able to use the equalizer for mp3s either.
