Can I print to a PC style parallel printer via a USB-Parallel cable [if I install the printer drivers] in Virtual PC?

Or am I going to need to pay the extra $$ and get Powerprint plus the USB-parallel cable?

From a firewire ibook to an HP laserjet 5p.
