imac and webcam problem

I have an imac 600mhz with 256 mb ram running 02 9.2.2. I upgraded from an old beige 266 mhz minitower running os 9.1. I had a xirlink pc cam hooked up to that machine which worked fine, now that I have the imac I cannot get the cam to work. The computer will not recognize it. I am totally lost, someone help.
