Has anyone tried the Iomega buz in a G4? Iomega specifically mentions on the website that it works in both Beige and Blue and White G3s, but says nothing about G4s... has anyone tried it?

The reason I ask is because Iomega is selling it for $100 on their website, including free shipping! But I don't want to get one if it won't work in a G4.

Iomega are discontinuing the Buzz for the Mac, that's why they're selling them off cheap. I didn't think there were any left in the channel at all!!!! I wouldn't touch it, there will be no future support.

You'll notice the info refers to Quicktime 3 and Premier 4.2. Methinks that page might be quite old!!!

The Buz should work on the G4 with OS 9.0. However, it will not work with an AGP video card and you will need to revert to the version of QuickTime that comes with the Buz software.
