Hi
I have an Epson 740 that works fine. Also have received an HP 930C. Does anyone have experience with the 930C?
thanks in advance!

Mornin'
I asked a similar question a week or so ago (maybe less, but didn't get a response). My girlfriend has had an Epson 740 for a few months now. I just took advantage of the buy.com/estamp.com deal and got the HP 930C. Now I have only had the HP 930C for a couple of days now, but DANG this isn't your father's ink jet printer. I haven't owned an ink jet since the StyleWriter 2400, the quality of ink jets has become incredible.
I have been printing some pictures from my DSC-S70 Sony digital camera...and I have to say with the HP photo paper, the pictures look like they were just developed at Ritz (or similar). The Epson is nice, don't get me wrong, but it isn't the HP 930C.

One thing: all tests I have come across confirm that HPs are MUCH more economic on ink and that Epsons in comparison to other ink-jets are notorious ink-suckers!

I've had my HP930C hooked up to my iMacDV since about February and it's excellent! Besides the awesome 2400dpi photo prints you mentioned it also does excellent text. But the design of the HP930 is particularly well thought out. The input and output trays are in front. This takes up less space, makes it easier to load, and allows you to put it on a shelf or other tight space. Even better, on the 930-935 HPs, the trays fold up for an incredibly small footprint.
I also bought the duplex option for automatic 2 sided printing. It cuts down on paper useage. Saves clutter and a few trees. Most printers tend to sell on their dpi and print speed. But the HP 93x is one printer that does that and more.....joe
