Can anyone help? I just bought a Microsoft Intellimouse optical and installed the software and it is working fine. HOWEVER i can't seem to use it for games, eg Unreal Tournament. I am going to try usb overdrive, but this means i have to disable the microsoft intellipoint software (which is better than teh generic usb overdrive). does anyone know if there is an inputsprocket for the intellimouse and if so where i can get it? Thanks for any help.
You're on the right track... just open up the Intellipoint control panel, click the Add button and locate the game you want and then click the disable... check box to turn-off the Intellipoint features.
One note... this doesn't work with the Terminus demo

Microsoft posted new drivers this week that should help you out. UT is supposed to work, but Q3A won't let you use the scroll on scroll button.
To get around this what you should do is set up a custom setting for the game in the Intellipoint control panel. Make each button/function a keystroke, and then set the game controls to react to that key. The game will think you're hitting a key and react accordingly. I've done thi with Q3A and it works flawlessly.
