Hi,

I've read what I could on the subject, but I'm finding it difficult to get any definitive answer.

I'm going to pick one up in the new year, and I need to know weather or not I can move my MP3's from my Linux box to it.

Can anyone either tell me or point me to an answer one way or the other? Is there an iPod HOWTO or some such documentation available yet?

I think there was a thing at slashdot about it a while back. However the main problem is that the iPod is HFS+. Linux isn't very good at reading HFS+ from what I've read, so you could probably make it work, but it won't be easy.

hfs+ support is also read-only, so you won't be able to transfer from linux to the ipod.
