Hi, I am new to OS X. How can I tell if my scanner is supported? I dwonloaded vuescan for os X. Is this the scanner software that pople are using? My model scanner is an Acer acerscan 620U prism. Is there a list of supported and unsupported scanners somewhere? Is my scanner as good as junk in OS X? Thansk in advance.

There is a list of supported scanners in the html documentation in the Vuescan folder.

IT says that acer scanners should work, but when I press scan, nothing happens. Should I assume mine doesn't work? ANd is this the scanning software that I should be using or is there a better one? Thanks in advance.
