Is AirPort Express like a remote USB port, or can it only be used for printing?

I have a KeySpan USB to serial adapter which I would like to access wirelessly. Is this possible?

I've seen them somewhere on the internet, but I don't remember how they were called. USB bridge or USB Wifi bridge, maybe. Tried Google ?

There are such things, but they suck in terms of speed. They are a good solution only if you absoultely cannot wire your usb device for some odd reason.

I guess it's good enough as a USB 1.1 replacement, but not for USB 2. Don't use it as a bridge for USB 2 HD.

The USB port on the AirPort Express is only for a printer. That's all.

And any use of an AirPort Express beyond printing belongs in the Networking forum.
