Here is how Apple should move these things...

Buy an iMac get $50 to $75 off an iPod

Buy an iBook get $100 to $125 off an iPod

Buy a G4 Tower get $150 to $175 off an iPod

Buy a PowerBook Ti get $200 to $225 off an iPod

Buy a 22" Cinema Display get an iPod FREE

Buy any of the above at a retail or online Apple Store and get a $50 coupon @ the Apple Store on top of the discount listed above. The coupon would be good for seperate purchaces made.

Also, Apple could make and SELL iTunes 2 for Windows, then it would work for Windows users, open the sales of this device to a much larger market, and also they would have the pleasure of paying a bit extra to enjoy something WE get for less (as has happened in reverse for so long a time).

What do you guys think? If you support the idea, pass it along to Apple.
