Maybe someone of you would know what I made wrong...
I've burned a few audio CDs and when I play them on my DVD-Video player, well, no nothing will play : I get a message saying NO DISK on the DVD display. But, the same DVD player has no problem with commercial CDs.
Why will it not play copied ones ? Is it a matter of copy protection ?
BTW, I get them playing sweet and honest on my car CD player. Is there an option to change when burning the CDs ?

Some DVD players can't read CD-R discs. I think some of the Sony's were famous for this.

Some players are just picky about the brand of media used. My wife's car will not play Fuji CD-Rs, but it will play Sony just fine. I would try another brand of CD-R first - then go to DR-RWs if that doesn't work.
Good luck!

Don't buy a seperate CD player - try to use Sony brand CD-Rs in your DVD player.
Worth a shot.

What Software are you using?
My DVD player will play audio CDs burned with Toast, but not those done with iTunes!
Mind you a friend's DVD player won't play 'em no matter how they're done.
Cheers!

Some CDs were made with Toast, some with iTunes. None will play. But I will give a try to Sony's brand CDs.
Tx for your help...

You might also want to try CD-RW's (if you can find cheap enough). I read somewhere that DVD players have an easier time with RW's than R's because of the similarities between RW's and DVD's.
