Apple lists this phone as compatible with iSync via Bluetooth. I'm just wondering why its performance with my Mac is so weird. I'm able to browse the phone and have successfully downloaded pictures and movies from it. I can also upload pictures and movies to it.

But when it comes to the Address Book, I can't sync my contacts in any way whatsoever. The iSync software explicitly says, This device is not supported by iSync?" I'm using the latest version of Tiger. Any other people having success with importing their Address Book data into the Motorola V557?

Thanks for your thoughts and, I hope, maybe some recommendations about how to get my contact info onto this phone, which I actually enjoy using except for this significant issue.

So I repaired permissions, restarted my machine, and, incredibly, the phone now syncs perfectly.

For the record, I'm running 10.4.6 on a dual G5 2.5Ghz.
