... wouldn't you think so?

I mean, this is a breakthrough... so was the cube... and you know what happened? What makes you think history is going to repeat itself so accuratly?

Yes, i'm devoting this thread to the one small point that Apple's production team is probably going to hold off on pumping out tons of these things unti they know how the demand is going to be and how the economy can handle a new product.

I mean, dont you think they over compensated with the Ti book when it came out? meaning, they didn't produce enough. Then, they were short when the demand hit a high. Almost the same with the ibook, but not as much... so, they're learning...

But, you can cry cube all you want, but I think Apple knows what they're doing. They're not all idiots there, I'm sure many behind the scenes knew and argued the same points you are all right now.
--whats this button do?

Goodbye koobi

This is not like the cube. The Cude was a COMPUTER, this is not. The iPod is intended to get Mac Users to upgrade and Windows users to witch. Just like there software it all has to do with selling COMPUTERS, not iPods. This is like the cube beacuse it is A great product, it is not like the cube beacuse it is not a computer, just a great product to soround a computer. Like OS X. Apple did not make OS X for the same reason M$ made Windows XP. Apple dose not plan on making money directly from OS X, they what people to see OS X and buy an iBook so they can RUN OS X. Just like the iPod, Apple whats you to see the iPod and buy a new iMac with FW so you can use the iPod.
