If there an adapter (or is it even possible)
to use a Superdisk USB drive on a older Performa with no USB port?

Assuming you have one of the later model Performas with PCI slots (603e and faster processors), you can buy a 2 port USB PCI card for $30-40. If your Performa has Nubus slots (68030, '040, and PPC601 processors) then your out of luck.
