hey all...

quick christmas-gift-related question:

has anyone here used the Yepp mp3 player with os x?
does it work with itunes?

how was your Yepp experience on Mac OS X?

any thoughts on this little device are greatly appreciated!

thanks

compared to the ipod, it's a cute little turd,

but anyway....

I don't think samsung has put up drivers that support osx yet. It's a nice basic player that used to be one of the finest mp3 players available. Similar to the nomad mg series, it has multiple functions that make it more than a mp3 player. If this is a gift for a wintel person, i would recomend it. it offers nice little software features that make the music management for the usb download nice.

If it's for yourself....or somebody you can borrow it from, go ipod

yeah, i know.....the ipod is better. but, this is just a small gift for an 11 yer old kid. as great as the pod may be, i'm not dropping all that extra money for it.

if i plug it into an os x machine, will it mount it? my brother has an iomega hipzip, and this is how that work. if it could do that, it would be good enough. itunes compatibility, however, would be best.
