So I had this QPS FireWire CD-RW, case model 'Que! QPS 525' in the basement, I can not recall this unit working under Mac OS X, maybe it did it with 10.2, but I am not that sure to be honest. So yesterday I tried it for the sake of its good looking case and it worked flawlessly under Mac OS 9 and Tiger, so far I was able to burn some CDRW media with Toast and iTunes, (both Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X versions). How cool is that?

I know, there are a good number of topics about this burner, but I though people was be all over me if I bumped such old threads.

Same here. It looked cool at the time but it is sorta beastly now.

It is really big, that's for sure -way bigger than the d2 I have here- but nice anyway, I was able to open it -and take it apart- completely without having to deal with a single screw, FireWire bridge included.

Last but not least, it is silent.

OK, thanks for your reply, kinda like a chat, but better than a monologue !
