I just got an 8x4x24 speed cdrw, its a clubmac/yamaha unit and its scsi, I hooked it up and it works fine except when I open toast it gives an error: "unknown driver loaded at SCSI id 6" but it works fine, and the real problem is that when the drive is on it crashes my computer randomly. I have a B&W G3 350 with 128 megs RAM and an orange micro SCSI card

All I can really give are the standard SCSI solutions...make sure that the SCSI id's are set correctly, make sure you are running the most current drivers for this device and card, make sure you have the most recent version of Toast, and then try the burner on someone else's computer if at all possible to make sure the problem is limited to your machine and is not actually the burner. Hope this helps.
