I've had my Plex 12/10/32 (IDE internal on G4/AGP) for a few days now, it's been workin beautifully at 12x using Toast 4.1, and all of a sudden it can't burn above 4x!! It's driving me nuts!! Not even on the included 12x CDR or 10x CDRW media! It keeps giving me the buffer underrun error, even though my hard drives are 7200 rpm and consistently give about 20MB/sec. I've tried everything I can think of - reduced extension set, different combinations of drivers (Intech, Apple, Toast), different media, nothing works!! HELP!!

never mind, problem fixed. turns out Intech makes the drive a great reader, but kills burning over 4x! With the Apple CD/DVD drivers and Toast extension, it burns at 12x just fine. Strange.
