Hey all,
Is there a way I can get TV on my iMac 20" CD, it would need to be able to connect to the cable from my Sky digital box downstairs, which is currently connected to my TV. Also would I be able to watch TV in a box on my desktop whilst I work?
Thanks

incase youre wondering why I wouldn't get the EZ:
"EyeTV EZ does not have a Live TV Buffer, like other products.
That means if you are just watching Live TV, you cannot pause or rewind.
This is because EyeTV EZ uses uncompressed, YUV video. That’s almost 300Mbps, compared to MPEG-2 at 6Mbps. Even HDTV maxes out at 20Mbps. As you can see, the files would be much too large to record, even temporarily, and so they are not captured as is.
If you press record, then the MPEG file that is created can be treated like a Live TV Buffer. Once you start recording, you can watch, pause and rewind the Live TV signal. You are actually viewing the recording, as it is being created.
This limitation is only for products that use uncompressed video (EyeTV EZ, EyeTV Wonder)."
So basically, all encoding and recording would be done on your mac, using system resources, and limiting the PVR capabilities. $50 more is well worth it to have all encoding done through the external hardware.

Ahh I see that one looks better, as it looks like it would have the ability to connect a console.

You couldn't connect a console to the 250 seeing as there would be severe lag, so if you're gonna use a game system then definately go for the EZ.

the 250 has a console mode, and thus has no lag.
