I have a G4 sawtooth, 1gb ram, upgraded OWC processor (1.4ghz), do you think I can comfortably use a tablet with this system?

I've heard a few people tell me to stay away with slower computers because they tend to "lag" in photoshop, illustrator, etc. Is this true?

I've used one on a G3 500 iBook with very few problems and with my 1.5Ghz PowerBook there are no problems whatsoever. You should be fine using one with your computer.

lol, you want lag? Try using a tablet in Photoshop running under rosetta. So gross, the lines are sketchy and wobbly. Unless you have lots of RAM, then you can give PS more resources in the preference window. But you should be just fine. I used to use my graphire3 on a 1.4ghz PC (or less, can't remember) and I never experienced any lag. And, mind you, I only had 378mb of RAM. I'll think you'll be fine
