Is every DC can transfer data to mac, or should I need to buy a card reader ?

Just look on the box for USB and the Mac logo. Otherwise, a card reader will be your best bet.

Best bet is to look for the camera that meets your needs, then find out what kind of connection to your computer it requires. Some cameras have built-in USB and some use serial connections. As stated, you may be able to connect direct to the Mac from the camera or you may need to get a card reader.

I have an Olympus C-2020 and a USB Cameramate card reader that work fine with my G4/500
